A song you liked by an artist who was under 18 at the time of recording

Hmm. Which artist did I not like who was under 18 at the time of recording should be the question, honestly! For some reason, I still have a very, very soft spot for teen music. I think it's the purity and wholesomeness I like about teen pop.

You all already know that I am a fan of Taylor Swift and David Archuleta, so I'm going to just skip to someone I haven't spoken about as much: Justin Bieber.

I'm a fan of Justin Bieber. Not a banshee-type fan (I would certainly not brave the screaming girls to see him in concert ... in fact, I probably wouldn't dream of seeing him in concert until he tones down the gimmicks a little), but I like the kid's music and I think he's cute. Well, he was ... until he started growing. At 16, he had more charisma than any 16-year-old boy I'd ever met and let's just say I don't know too many people who weren't hit with at least a mild case of Bieber Fever in 2010.

I love "Baby" -- it's a song I love both ironically and without an ounce of irony. I also love most of his "My World 2.0" album ... it's got a ton of good pop-R&B songs. "Runaway Love" is probably my favorite; "Somebody to Love" and "Up" are also really good. But by the same token, I really, really don't like his first-ever single (of off "My World"), "One Time."

I do think his persona and fame have gotten a little bigger than the boy himself, though. He was everywhere in 2010, and I think I felt it was justified at the time. Now he's collaborating with everyone and their cousin, and none of it is particularly impressive. I think he needs to get back to making fun solo music ... that is if he's still capable of doing it. Puberty can be a biatch.
