Am I going to get in trouble for this? I'm not entirely sure which song it was, but I have an idea. In the spring of 2000, I created one of my first mix CDs. This one was entitled "Spring Break" and included a collection of songs from that period that reminded me of happy, sunny times.

It included some songs I already owned from CDs I had bought, but there were a couple I had gotten through ... alternative means. Like "Thong Song" by Sisqó. And "Better Off Alone" by Alice DeeJay. I thought, until I made the effort to find the original CD just now, that "My Way" or "Rollin'" by Limp Bizkit was on it too, but that must've been something else (not to mention the album those songs are from wasn't released until fall of 2000).

My (now very embarrassing) Spring Break playlist:
1. Missing You, Backstreet Boys
2. Fantasy, Mariah Carey
3. Tell Me That I'm Dreaming, Backstreet Boys
4. 2 Become 1, Spice Girls
5. Let's Have A Party, Backstreet Boys
6. Lovefool, The Cardigans
7. Everybody (Backstreet's Back), Backstreet Boys
8. I Think I'm In Love, Jessica Simpson
9. I Want It That Way, Backstreet Boys
10. Genie In A Bottle, Christina Aguilera
11. Thong Song, Sisqó
12. Oops! I Did It Again, Britney Spears (did I ever tell you I know much of the dance to this song?)
13. Back Here, BBMak
14. Better Off Alone, Alice DeeJay
15. Iris, Goo Goo Dolls

Thank goodness for those Goo Goo Dolls, for a smidge of credibility! Ha.

And for good measure, some Limp Bizkit.
