Now that summer's in full swing, I thought it'd be a great time for a new playlist of "summer music." Some of these tunes are happy, bubbly summer songs, while others are mellow songs for those rare cool summer nights -- sometimes listening to music is more about creating a mood than enjoying one particular song.

I tried to create a YouTube playlist out of the 20 songs I have here, but a significant number of songs are missing from YouTube (like Gym Class Heroes), so I've added one song to the YouTube playlist that is not available on Spotify just yet -- "Burn" by Ellie Goulding.
